In the reality, the women rights in Muslim countries have never been an irritant with Western governments which have been putting up with such issues for decades while dealing with Muslim monarchs in the Middle East and elsewhere in the world. Now putting up preconditions such as allowing women to work shoulder to shoulder with men in private and public places, is more of pressure tactics to compel the new Afghan government under the Taliban to provide West the concessions on critical geo-strategic issues to counter a rising China in Asia !
